Waiver Wire Targets Week 15 – Week 14 Fantasy Football Fallout

This week’s list is similar to week 14’s, but that’s because there wasn’t a ton of movement in the waiver wire last week.

If you’re in a dynasty or keeper league, but are out of contention, I released an episode about end-of-season maintenance on my Fantasy Football Almanac Show.  I don’t do many episodes, but this one is designed to help dynasty players cash in on long term candidates.  I released this last week when Chase Brown was still widely available.  I suppose he still is, but you’ll have competition for him.  If you’re interested in listening, this link will take you to it: https://underdogpodcasts.com/category/sports/fantasy-sports/fantasy-football-almanac.

Onto this week’s waivers:

Top Overall Players Available to most of you:

Should Be Gone (available between 15-30% of leagues):

Quarterbacks:

  1. NA – See below

Running Backs:

  1. NA – see below

Wide Receivers:

  1. Rashee Rice – he seems to be the only WR on the Chiefs that isn’t a disaster
  2. Christian Watson – good enough to stash through his injury

Tight Ends:

  1. Trey McBride

Defense/Special Teams:

  1. Baltimore Ravens
  2. Cleveland Browns

Could Be Available (available between 31-50% of leagues):

Quarterbacks:

  1. Kyler Murray – he’s more available after the bye week.  Snap him up.

Running Backs:

  1. Ezekiel Elliott – looked great with Stevenson out.  Might have at least one more week of productivity
  2. AJ Dillon
  3. Chuba Hubbard

Wide Receivers:

  1. Odell Beckham Jr. – not my favorite, but WR is thin in this grouping

Tight Ends:

  1. Taysom Hill

Defense/Special Teams:

  1. New York Jets

Probably Available (available between 51% and 70% of leagues):

Quarterbacks:

  1. Matt Stafford

Running Backs:

  1. Antonio Gibson – coming off a bye week
  2. Keaton Mitchell – still not rostered across leagues at a high percentage
  3.

Wide Receivers:

  1. Jayden Reed
  2. Michael Thomas – should be coming off IR soon

Tight Ends:

  1. Isaiah Likely – this will be the last decent shot you’ll have at him

Defense/Special Teams:

  1. Minnesota Vikings

Sleeper Grabs (available in more than 70% of leagues):

Quarterbacks:

  1. Jake Browning – he’s balling and he has great weapons
  2. Joe Flacco – in theory, he should get better as the season winds down

Running Backs:

  1. Chase Brown
  2. D’Onta Foreman
  3. Rico Dowdle
  4. Chris Rodriguez – Gibson will give some carries to Rodriguez with Brian Robinson Jr. hurt

Wide Receivers:

  1. Joshua Palmer – he should come off IR soon
  2. Demario Douglas – we’ll see what happens, but he could be back soon
  3. Jonathan Mingo – he’s getting a ton of targets, but his admittedly paltry
  4. Zay Jones

Tight Ends

  1. Tanner Hudson
  2. Zach Ertz – he has interest from contenders.  He could pick his next team soon.

Defense/Special Teams:

  1. Indianapolis Colts
