Waiver Wire Targets For Week 11 – 2024 Waiver Wire Targets
There are good opportunities to get starters at WR, TE and even RB this week. Cedric Tillman continues to be my top overall waiver wire recommendation. Beyond that, I’d claim Audric Estime to see if he can turn his opportunity into a full time starting gig in Denver.
Quarterback:
- Tua Tagovailoa (54% available) – we’ll see what happens on MNF and injuries are always a concern, but I still like Tua best among QBs.
- Bo Nix (49%) – Nix continues to look better. I thought he had a good game against a touch Chiefs defense this week.
- Russell Wilson (60%) – he’s slinging it well for the Steelers and they have a solid group of pass catchers.
- Jared Goff (46%) – Goff had a down week, but he’ll bounce back.
- Joe Flacco (93%) – Flacco took over in a brutal schedule stretch for the Colts, but things will even out for Flacco and he should score well.
- Drake Maye (88%) – Maye got a win against a strong Bears defense on the road. Things are looking up.
- Jameis Winston (95%) – Winston will continue to move the ball coming off a bye week.
Running Back:
- Audric Estime (98% available) – it looks like he is getting his shot to be the longterm Broncos running back. He started better than he finished vs the Chiefs, but that was a tough game for him to take over. Let’s see how he does in the coming weeks.
- Trey Benson (84%) – he had a mini-breakthrough in week 10, but he is still firmly behind James Conner on the depth chart
- Jonathan Brooks (43%) – Carolina is heading to bye week and then Brooks will be back on the field.
- Alexander Mattison (45%) – I’m interested to see how Mattison does with a new play caller in week 11
- Keaton Mitchell (95%) – he could be a difference maker when he retakes the field
- Tank Bigsby (45%) – the ankle injury is a bit concerning, but he should score well when he plays
- Jaylen Wright (94%) – my eyes tell me that Wright is better today than Mostert is. My eyes are right more than they’re wrong. Let’s see what happens on MNF, but I’m being stubborn about this one. All Wright needs is a chance.
- Zamir White (67%) – the offense could shift. Will White get another shot with a better play caller?
Wide Receiver:
- Cedric Tillman (50% available) – Tillman can be a #1 WR in the league and is coming off a bye week. He and Estime are my favorite waiver wire pickups.
- Jauan Jennings (38%) – I liked what I saw from Jennings this week. I’d rather have him than Pearsall moving forward….
- Ricky Pearsall (75%) …not that I wouldn’t mind having Pearsall too.
- Elijah Moore (95%) – Tillman is the one to target on the waiver wire, but Moore is playing well too
- Alec Pierce (84%) – his strong week 10 performance had part to do with Michael Pittman’s injury, but all Colts pass catchers will improve with Flacco throwing the ball
- Noah Brown (88%) – Daniels is focusing on brown more by the week. Because teams are trying to lock down McLaurin on the other side, Brown is often open
- Jalen McMillan (73%) – this is a speculative recommendation, but I like what I’ve seen on the field. McMillan creates separation, but he and Baker just haven’t come together on big TD numbers yet.
- Xavier Legette (52%) – I didn’t like the game, but I like Legette’s season-long outlook better than I do for Jalen Coker.
- Quentin Johnston (54%) – his target totals are so low, but he gets in the end zone a lot
- Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (98%) – he came back to earth this week, but he is still scoring a lot of TDs. Perhaps Mason Rudolph prefers Westbrook-Ikhine and Levis doesn’t?
- Michael Wilson (88%) – I’d like him more, but he doesn’t get a ton of targets.
Tight End:
- Hunter Henry (46% available) – Maye loves throwing to Henry. I like him to top my TEs because he’ll be consistently solid in terms of catches and yardage and will sprinkle in an occasional TD
- Will Dissly (98%) – I said as much in the book, but this offense rewards TEs. The problem is that the Chargers have been splitting targets among the entire group. Dissly has been consolidating since the Hurst injury. Hurst has been back a couple of weeks and Dissly is still getting quality target totals.
- Dawson Knox (99%) – Kincaid went down with a knee injury. If he’s out for the year, you can boost Knox above Henry too.
- Mike Gesicki (56%) – the injury to Erik All has opened things up a bit for Gesicki
- Taysom Hill (55%) – he gets meaningful carries and will gather a few targets as well
- Zach Ertz (42%) – he is the guy moving the chains for Washington and he’ll continue to have a solid role
- Jonnu Smith (74%) – I’m eager to see what he does on MNF. If he has a big game, I’d boost him to #3 along with Dawson Knox.
- Theo Johnson (97%) – I like the target totals, but dislike the guy throwing him the ball.
Defense:
- Cleveland (62% available) – they are coming off a bye and could be a defense you could ride the rest of the season
- Green Bay (75%) – they are playing an awful Bears offense and also coming off a bye.
- Indianapolis (91%) – they are a solid group and match up against a bad Jets offense.
- LA Rams (93%) – they have been improving all season and I like their matchup vs the Patriots
