Waiver Wire Targets for Week 11 (2025 Fantasy Football)

Waiver Wire Strategy for Week 11

The trade deadline came and went and there are a few moves that warrant a bit of attention.

Top 5 Waiver Wire Targets – Week 11

Here are my Top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 11

  1. RB, Tyjae Spears
  1. TE, Colston Loveland
  1. RB, Emari Demercado
  1. WR, Chimere Dike
  1. QB, Sam Darnold

Waiver Wire Pickups by Position

Quarterbacks

  • Sam Darnold: surprisingly threw only 1 TD pass in the route against Arizona.
  • Brock Purdy: I continue to say it, but he’s close to returning
  • Joe Flacco/Joe Burrow: Burrow should be back sometime in the next three weeks
  • Marcus Mariota: Mariota should do well against Miami next week.
  • J.J. McCarthy: I’m not a fan of McCarthy as a passer, but he runs.

Running Backs

  • Tyjae Spears: After the bye, I think we’ll see more from Spears.
  • Emari Demercado: has he earned playing time even when Benson returns?
  • Blake Corum: I like him better in dynasty formats, but he’s strung two games together with quality touch totals.
  • Tyler Allgeier: He continues to take red zone carries away from Bijan Robinson and thus, finds the end zone quite a bit.
  • Brian Robinson Jr.: The 49ers appear to be rotating Robinson in a bit more to rest McCaffrey as much as they can.  Robinson is looking like one of the better backups now.
  • Sean Tucker: he looked stellar last week.  He’ll be back to the bench when Bucky returns.
  • Braelon Allen: Isaih Davis’s usage last week tells me the Jets weren’t serious about giving him more snaps unless they traded Hall.  Braelon Allen could be back in 2-3 weeks.  It’s time to give him a look.

Wide Receivers

  • Chimere Dike: I’m hoping to see him used as a focal point after the bye week.
  • Parker Washington: he’s strung together a few very good games.  I am concerned about the addition of Jakobi Meyers though.
  • Kayshon Boutte: Hollins had a huge game while Boutte was out.  When he plays, he finds the end zone quite a bit.
  • Darius Slayton: decent yardage last week, but still not enough targets.
  • Tory Horton: Rasheed Shaheed didn’t light the world on fire while Horton missed last week’s route of the Cardinals.  I still think Horton shoudl be the #2 WR in Seattle, but we’ll see how it shakes out.
  • Tez Johnson: Not a great week 10 for Johnson, but he’s still a viable fantasy option while Godwin and Evans miss time.

Tight Ends

  • Colston Loveland: He is distancing himself from veteran Cole Kmet.  I think he’s the best TE add for sure.
  • Theo Johnson: He looks to be improving incrementally by the week.  The change in coaching staff could give him a shot in the arm.
  • Cade Otton: Don’t count on him to find the end zone often, but Otton should see plenty of targets while Evans and Godwin miss time.
  • Luke Musgrave: Nobody scored well for the Packers against the Eagles.  I’ll give Musgrave another chance next week.
  • Mason Taylor: It’s hard to get excited about Jet pass catchers this season.
  • Taysom Hill: He won’t catch many passes, but he’s looking like the short yardage back in New Orleans

Defenses (DST)

  • NE Patriots (vs NY Jets)
  • LA Chargers (vs Jacksonville)
  • Atlanta (vs Carolina)
