Waiver Wire Targets For Week 13 – 2024 Waiver Wire Targets

Let’s make a championship run, everyone!

Quarterback:

  1. Tua Tagovailoa (39% available) – he’s definitely the best of what’s out there if you need a QB for your playoff run.
  2. Russell Wilson (50%) – I’m not holding a tough game on short rest in the snow against Wilson.  He’ll give you consistently decent scoring.
  3. Caleb Williams (74%) – since the change at OC, Williams has been playing way better.
  4. Anthony Richardson (73%) – last week was a tough matchup for Richardson.  He’s best when Indianapolis can control the clock a bit more and allow him to use his legs.

Running Back:

  1. Ameer Abdullah (80% available) – there’s not much at RB.  Abdullah had a better game with Mattison and White out for the Raiders, but it’s also worth noting Abdullah has been the best performing back in Las Vegas for the past few weeks.  Maybe he hangs onto the primary job.
  2. Jeremy McNichols (99% available) – Brian Robinson initially came back into the game after his injury, but he couldn’t finish up.  Those injuries have a tendency to inflame and swell more in the days after so I think it’s safe to say McNichols will at least get one week of quality usage.
  3. Tank Bigsby (67% available) – at RB, he’s really the only guy I think can be of value to your team barring injury to someone else of course.
  4. Audric Estime (72%) – since having the chance to lead the Broncos backfield in carries, Estime has disappointed.
  5. Trey Benson (72%) – he hasn’t had much to offer much of the year.

Wide Receiver:

  1. Keon Coleman (47% available) – he was on a tear before his wrist injury, but he will be back soon.  Coelman could be a starting player for your team in the playoffs.
  2. Elijah Moore (87%) – Moore has leapfrogged teammate Cedric Tillman because his utilization has been more consistent since Jameis Winston took over throwing the ball and Moore’s catch rate is better.
  3. Cedric Tillman (38%) – he’s had two rough games in a row, but I still like his target and TD potential.
  4. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (93%) and Quentin Johnston (59%) – I’ll continue to lump these two guys together because they usually catch 1-3 passes and a touchdown.  They have much better value in TD-only leagues.
  5. Noah Brown (90%) – Brown has drawn more targets than McLaurin for what seems like multiple weeks now.  He’s playing well for Washington and often acts as Daniels’ safety receiver when he’s outside the pocket.
  6. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (85%) – just be careful.  His numbers could go down when Olave returns.  But since he’s on IR, MVS should have a few more weeks of productivity.
  7. Devaughn Vele (98%) – he’s been consistent the last few weeks.  I’d have him higher on this list except I don’t trust Sean Payton to get anyone on this team the ball consistently outside of Courtland Sutton.
  8. Xavier Legette (64%) – his target totals are improving by the week.

Tight End:

  1. Taysom Hill (47% available) – I guess people just ignored him since they were on bye but he should be rostered and I think can be plugged into your starting lineup thanks to his goal line running work.
  2. Will Dissly (63%) – I expect his strong utilization to continue tonight on MNF.
  3. Noah Gray (98%) – Noah Gray has quietly outperformed teammate Travis Kelce the last couple of weeks.  I think KC is running more multi-tight end formations, so Gray could be here to stay.
  4. Zach Ertz (33%) – Washington’s offense has taken a massive step back in recent weeks, but Ertz is being targeted more in the red zone which helps his numbers.

Defense:

  1. LA Chargers (58% available) – they’re my favorite defense and I think you can start them the rest of the season.
  2. Buffalo (60%) – they were dropped due to the bye week.  I’d have stashed them and kept them on my roster.  They should be prioritized and are another group you can lock into the starting lineup the rest of the season.
  3. Chicago (63%) – I don’t love they have to face off against their tough division most of the rest of the season, but I still like this defensive unit moving forward.
  4. Seattle (90%) – I like their matchups the rest of the 2024 season.

  1. Good stuff as always! If unable to get a solid defense, having Tampa/Arizona combo could be solid the rest of the way. week 13-TB @ Carolina 14-LV @ Tampa 15-NE @ AZ 16-AZ @ Carolina 17-Carolina @ TB. Carolina will be flat after heartbreaking loss to KC.

  2. Hi Sean, thanks for the heads up on Abdullah and NWI, they were 2 of my better performers last week!
Happy Thanksgiving to You and your crew and all of your families.
